Where is summer?
Soooo…having a one year old and not being able to give her anything for a cold/cough is absolutely the worse feeling for a mother. Knowing there is nothing you can do or say to make things better is just awful! Now, I am feeling as if I am coming down with something. This is definitely not the time. I have to finish National Boards in a couple months, study for the test, not miss days at school, and most importantly take care of my family (not to mention finish the bball season and start the sball season)…ahhhh!!! So my new question in life is how to get rid of stress naturally with medicine or food? Are there any foods that can destress you or smells? Interesting…

Snow Bound
Today we have about 8 inches of snow and a little girl who is very sick. She has been throwing up since this past Wednesday late night. The throwing up stopped 2 nights ago, but still up all through the night coughing and crying. Jordan and I feel as if we are newborn parents again. However, my little fighter survived all her Christmas toys and now the “big” snow. She loved everything and plays until her pedialyte runs dry…haha! Jordan, is ready to get out. So, while Riley is taking a short short short nap, I am working on school work and Jordan is out wanting to clean off the driveway. Yes, here’s your sign that he is from the north….haha! Noone else is out in the neighborhood and probably looking out the window at him now. This has been a great challenge for the both of us and we are doing great. We (or should I say “I”) have had my meltdowns, but the two of us make a GREAT team! Thanks Jordan for the new computer with blogger live so I can blog much much more now! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everybody! Pictures and video to come soon!

Teething Sucks!!!
FYI...Riley is not one of those!! haha! She threw up all night last night and guess what? This is the week where I am here alone at nights because of Jordan being at meetings. Ugh! So it's just me and her! But, we made it through. Tonight she fussed but I sang church hymns to her and she loved this little light of mine.
When I finished a verse and got tired of singing the song, she said "mommy, I love God!" I thought she was going to say I love you because we have been saying that alot but "I love God!" is much better!
I love that little girl!

Duck Pond
Still no teeth...haha...but someone asked me the other day what words she is saying...wow! I have no idea if I could even imagine counting them all. I will list her favorites below...
mama, daddy, nana, no, papi and granddaddy now, map, dora, dog!!!!, duck, thank you, uh oh (so funny because it stops at uhhhhhh), mine, all the animals on her baby can read cards and she can copy about any word that you say (elephant is a little hard for her but she attempts it).
What a smart girl we have! I love her so much!
